Michael and Tony were amazing to work with for the catering for our event! They were patient, accommodating, and truly took the time to understand our needs and the needs of our guests. Their communication was consistent and transparent throughout the entire process. Most importantly, all of our guests loved the food! Long line for seconds. We couldnβt have asked for a better catering experience and highly recommend them.

This review is frustrating to write because the pizza itself was outstanding. We ordered the Deluxe Pepperoni with ricotta and hot honey and a cheese pizza, and both were excellent. The kitchen absolutely delivered. The professor knows his shit!!! Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience completely overshadowed the food. We originally ordered carryout because we were in the middle of a four-pizza Chicago taste test and drove 3 hours for said event. While we were waiting, we sat at the bar, where there were only two other customers and a couple of occupied tables in the entire restaurant. The bartender never asked if we'd like to order a drink, never checked on us, and never attempted to upsell us on anything. A hostess even brought us waters while we waited. Just as our pizzas came out, we received a notification that our next pizza pickup had been delayed. Since the restaurant was nearly empty, we politely asked the bartender if it would be okay to eat our pizzas at the bar instead of taking them back to the car. His response? "Oh, I see... you want to order carryout and then eat it at my bar." It wasn't what he said as much as how he said it...with a smug, condescending smirk

It was a good treat after a movie! They have multiple types of ways to bake the pizza bread, thereβs cracker, grandma, New York, and Detroit. I got the grandma style which was perfect it was kinda like focaccia light but crunchy. The margarita pizza included mozzarella slices and basil on top of tomato sauce. The 12β was perfect size for two! Staff were so cool and helpful for ordering. Great spot for groups too!

The cracker crust here is super crunchy! Nothing else to add here but the taste of the pepperoni, char cooked mushrooms and hot honey drizzle was all on point. Their mozzarella onion rings is unique. The crunch was great with salty mozz and sweet onions. Luvβd their side dips of vodka sauce and marinara. A definite stop before or after comedy club nearby in The Old Town neighborhood.

The mozzarella onion rings were so crispy and the house made marinara and vodka sauce is a βmust order!β The Sicilian sausage and half pepp pizza was very good. Itβs well worth the wait and the leftovers were perfect for the next day. Service was great and the vibe was very welcoming. I highly recommend Professor Pizza!
